Yale CS/AI, MIT Physics. Maine farm youth.Trusted AIFor people, it takes about 10 million minutes of experience to go from infant to adult, and about 2 million minutes to go from novice to expert on skills that require deliberate practice. Machines will progress from tool to assistant to collaborator to coach to mediator by about 2035, and in the process be equipped with an episodic dynamic memory. A "cognitive mediator" is a trusted advisor on personal development and negotiations to help us invest systematically in better win-win, value co-creation interactions with others. Open source code and datasets will be key to building trusted AI cognitive mediators.
