Bio
Dr. Balint Kiss got his MSc degree at the Budapest University of Technology of Economics (BME, Hungary) and his PhD at the École des Mines de Paris (France). He has more than 20 years of teaching experience in teaching control engineering and robotics at BME both for undergraduate and graduate students. He has made contributions to the fields of nonlinear mechatronic control systems and robotics, with a particular focus on the development of advanced control algorithms and their applications in various industrial and applied research settings. His current research interests include nonlinear control, motion planning, and autonomous systems. In addition to his research, he is dedicated to mentoring numerous master and PhD studentthrough their academic and research endeavours. He is also actively involved in various collaborative projects with industry partners, aiming to bridge the gap between academic theoretical research and practical applications.
