HTM (Health Technology Management)

Health Technology Management (HTM) refers to the systematic and coordinated activities that ensure the planning, procurement, use, maintenance, and disposal of health technologies are performed in a manner that is safe, effective, cost-efficient and aligned with health system priorities. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines HTM as “a set of activities to ensure that medical equipment is available and functions effectively and safely to support health services in an efficient, cost-effective and sustainable manner”
