You will learn the most important privacy-enhancing technologies and their advantages and drawbacks. You will have a good understanding of when and which privacy technologies to use.

- Â Introduction to Privacy: The lecture introduces you to privacy and its dangers.
- Anonymization and De-identification techniques: The lecture presents the basic anonymization techniques and some general attacks.
- Differential Privacy: The third lecture teaches you a very important and widely used technique, differential privacy.
- Secure Aggregation and Secure Shuffling: The fourth lecture presents two techniques to aggregate data from clients.
- Secret sharing and secure multiparty computation: The fifth lecture shows how to privately share a secret and compute functions for multiple participants.
- Homomorphic Encryption: The sixth lecture teaches you how to outsource computation.
- Signal and Tor: The final lecture presents two implemented anonymization protocols.
