Autonomous Multi-Agent Systems

This course introduces fundamental principles and techniques of Agent Technology, as well as the usage of such techniques for creating autonomous software systems. Central to the course are the concepts of “intelligent agents”, as a paradigm for creating autonomous software components, and “multi-agent systems” as a way of providing coordination and communication between individual autonomous software components. The main topics considered in the courses include agent theory and architectures, negotiation, coordination and methods of interoperation in multi-agent systems.

The course is oriented toward developers of autonomous systems. It doesn’t have specific pre-requisites and is open for a broad audience.
