Emotional Human-Robot Interactions

This course on Emotional Human-Robot Interactions is a basic-level self-standing learning module.

In this module, we will briefly learn about Human-Robot Interactions (HRI) and the role emotions play in it. We will cover the following topics: What is HRI, and why is it a thing? What are the main methods and models to measure human emotions or affects? What is a robot, and what kinds of robots exist? How can a robot understand human emotions? How can a robot convey emotional signals to humans via sound, body language, or vision? What role do trust and empathy take in an interaction? What can we say regarding the ethical concerns?
